Wendy Chisholm: After obtaining her Paralegal Diploma, locally grown, Wendy joined the firm's Litigation Department in 2003. In 2006, Wendy shipped off to the big city lights of Toronto, only to return with a new appreciation for the Pictou County way of life. Wendy returned to the Mac Mac & Mac team in 2009 and found her niche in the Family Centre. Her knowledge surrounding Family and Supreme Court proceedings involving custody, access, separation, and divorce combined with her down-to-earth and personable attitude contributes towards a positive outlook for clients.

Tasha Herrell joined the team in October 2010. She came to us with a respect and dedication to families demonstrated through her education and research. Tasha has a Master of Arts in Family Studies and Gerontology with a focus on family dynamics, family relationships, and family resiliency. Her research explored father involvement post-divorce from the perspective of fathers themselves. Tasha enjoys meeting clients, problem solving child custody and access issues, and coordinating court document preparation. She is happy to be a part of the team that provides affordable legal services to Pictou County.
